I had it colour matched then just went at it with 2k on the drive. Bit dodgy doing it on the drive but think I got away with it!:D

Just finished respray!!

Just resprayed in original colour. Not too bad for a diy spray on the drive!

The thing is my friend works at the garage and he came to my house and said he would pass it as he is a tester. He said he would also be doing the mot but at the last min the tester got changed. And it so happened to be the owner that ended up testing it!! Managed to source a rear cross member...

and the arches were on for mot and all the trim!

tyres are only 235 85 16s the pic with the number plate in was old. its a nightmare because i need to take it back to him otherwise i have to go through the mot all again with another garage and down here on the island they can get a lot more picky than that!

it also failed on a fuel leek. i only got it back today as i just had my defender 200 tdi fitted guess he didnt do up something tight enough. but it was just those two things... the 10 day race is on!!!
