Got that right haha , although he said the service was £300 plus £60 for update , then it came to £360 without an update. And when asked the update was £60 , when I came to pay it was £120 Still it’s all logged on the Landrover service history wotzit and it was half the price of Land Rover so...

Hi all, just thought I’d update so I took it for a service a few months ago and he told me it didn’t need a Transmission Software Update although I asked him to do one. So I have now taken it for the Update... and it’s soooo much better now. Done approx 500 miles since and it’s not jerked...

I’ll ask the garage to look more into it.. I’m going to a place called Land Ranger in Stockport , which I’ve been told are great.... so fingers crossed they will be able to sort it.

I had the car serviced a cpl of months ago and asked them to do a gearbox software update, they said it doesn’t need one. They did say they’re was a brake switch fault code and reset it.. but no lights have come on.

The gearbox itself feels great, all changes are smooth etc , no funny noises etc.. just that as stated above..

It’s on 58k now, we bought it on 52k last year and it started doing it a cpl of months after so prob about 53/54k

Thanx , never heard of one.. but reading about them, yes sounds possible that could be the cause... does feel like a rear diff engagement issue! Thanx pal I’ll get it looked at
