    Speed querie???

My knackered old 200Tdi will still drag me along at between 70-80 on the motorway, maybe worth having a check of a few things. If you were only doing 60, then pretty much any other 200Tdi (onwards) Landy could have done you. Some TD5's are getting a bit quick now- chipped, lowered, full...

    Boing Says Zebedi, Spring/coil question

My 110 CSW has badly sagging springs, especially on the front, and Im going to replace them. Reading a few mag's recently I ve seen the new Britpart springs and they seem reasonable quality and price (and yellow) but Im completley unsure of what spring rating to get. As Ive said its a 110 CSW...

Bonnet Mounting Spare wheels- Good or Bad?

Easy for you to say Griff, you got a Scorpion one for free! Might just get a cheap Paddocks job, looks okay and I might be able to bodge a Hi-Lift mount onto it as well.

Bonnet Mounting Spare wheels- Good or Bad?

Dont like the sound of that much, but as a Defender is a death trap anyway I guess this doesnt matter too much. Paddocks have the genuine LR kits in stock for £45, which is what has sparked my interest. Swing Aways just seem over complicated.

Station Wagon to Hard Top Conversion

Most expedition companies have blanked side panels ready to be installed, but they are quite espensive. It was either OEC or Brownchurch which quoted me around £200 for a pair.

Bonnet Mounting Spare wheels- Good or Bad?

Like most older Defender owners I want to get my spare wheel of my rear door before it rips it off. I have always liked the idea of bonnet mouting the spare as opposed to shelling out £200 odd quid for a decent swing away. Whats people's opinions? The 110 is my daily drive so I have to park...

    Defending my defender

Thats what im worried about with cheap armour, dont want to cover my underbody with cheap bits of metal from paddocks to watch them all get shredded the first time they're needed! Would quite like jackable sills with built in tree sliders, but scouting around it looks like Scorpion Racing are...

    Defending my defender

Had a bit of a play off road in my mainly standard 110 CSW the other day at Minety pay and play site. Did some fairly tough green lanes before that and basically spent the day smacking the crap out of everything and anything attached to my landy. My question is, whats the first thing I could...
