Thanks all egr blanked and maf cleaned. Also oil changed- well overdue. Runs well but still same exhaust blowing type noise at 1500 to 1800 rpm. will be checking out turbo/ intercooler hoses this weekend.Convinced also that u have to give it some really hard right foot now and again to keep...

Hello Just need a little help :) I have a 2001 disco TD5 in 5 years never a problem.....now very poor acceleration in lower band RPM. Also generally poor MPG. Used to be able to get up to 36 MPG now around 25 MPG on similar journeys.Between 1500 and 2200 ish.....RPM absolutely crap acceleration...

hello, new member wants help. disco 11 td5 recent poor acceleration/economy. At around 1800 rpm sounds like exhaust is blowing , no guts and very poor acceleration. Exhaust isnt actually blowing though. Ran like a train upto about 3 months ago, but now miserable to drive. Have had for 5 years...
