    P38 Fog Lamps

I noticed my front fog lamps weren't working but the little green light illuminates in the switch when side/headlamps are on. So, I bought new bulbs, fitted them being careful not to touch the glass and tried again. Still no joy (or light for that matter). Check connections and wiring, all...

    Went for a drive today...

After making the decision not to sell my Problematic38, I took it to Land Rover Spares in Kendal last week to have the t/f box viscous coupling changed and the front prop fitted. Although the garage is 80 miles away, they've been around for ages and I knew the chap who used to run it (now sadly...

    P38 boot not locking

This is also happening to mine, exactly the same symptoms! I'll check the lock when it comes back from the garage (new t/f box viscous coupling).

    P38 Front prop

Thanks for the replies and for the advice. Being new to 4x4's I'm still wary about what I do when it comes to mechanical tinkering so let my local (trusted) garage fit the prop. They seem to think all was well and a road test did not highlight any issues. However, when I',m driving it a low...

    P38 tyre query

I'm running GG AT2's which are 18" on my P38. Not really noisey and they are actually quite good on the road! No complaints from me, and for £106 fitted per corner they were much cheaper than some.

I've finally got a 2nd hand prop and bolts but before I fit it, how do you diagnose: a) front diff problem b) transfer box problem What will I be looking/hearing for?

Tyres - P38a 18" - Please advise so can order...

I fitted GG AT2's to my P38 moving from a mismatch of Pirelli's and budget tyres and I think they're great on road. The only off road it's experienced was a wet field since fitting them but as the front prop is missing I don't want to get too adventurous.

    P38 Front prop

Now, I'm new to the LR scene having owned my P38 since April and during the time it's given me a fair amount of grief, most of which I won't drag up again...However, during it's latest episode where it has needed a new rad/thermostat/coolant, I noticed the garage hasn't nipped up the bottom...

    P38 with LPG - A few issues

Hi, I bought my first Range Rover on Saturday and it has a few issues that I'm keen to sort. It's a 4.0 and has the BRC single point lpg system which seems to develop a misfire on anything above light load. I'm sure I've read that replacement leads and new plugs should help ease this...

Hi, After reading the pages as a guest for a while, I've finally bought a Range Rover! It's a 1998 4.0 SE with a BRG LPG conversion and despite having a few minor issues, I'm really chuffed with it. List of things to do: Swap the 100 litre tank which takes up half the boot for an 80 litre...
