I know there supposed to be sealed for life and about as much use as a chocolate tea pot but I’ve heard you can remove sump plate and flush them and replace screen filter. I regularly replace the screen filter on my Buick Auto box

No one seems to have a good word for them .Are they that crap then?? Should never have got rid of my early two door 30 odd years ago then. Mind you that had more welding material holding it together than chassis
