    Just gone Mondo today, so far so good smells strongly of gearbox oil though will this go? Could just be the bolts for the VCU. props as they are in the hippo but not the prop as this is still in the workshop.

    Hi ?Gazza. Yeah the mounts can be changed without removing the diff. watched the guys whilst they did took about 1 hour in total. did need the use of pry bars though to push the diff over to get the front one out/in. thinking of a two inch lift kit now about £230 with the camber pins.

    just had the tracking done!!!! and not as many clunks as before can accelerate hard again yay!!! my mate in the local garage has said he will take the VCU and props off for the summer to conserve wear and tear and fuel what do you think, he says it will handle better but it won't be a real 4x4...

    Does any one know why when accelerating from 1s to 2nd I get a clunk when changing gear. Sounds like from the rear, poss diff related is this normal? Have heard if changing the centre mount might releive the problem as this gets overlooked on services and is prone to wearing quicker than the...
