Thank you both Dan & Mark…. It was the fuse in No 11 …. I removed it and ‘Clunk’ and transmission problem resolved 😁😁😁 Now I have to figure out how long it’s been there AND who the bright spark is who inserted it in there 🥴🤔 Thank you both again for sharing your expertise 🥸

I have not yet checked the transfer box fluid level....will do that tomorrow.

I did follow correct procedure when refilling the gearbox and then topped up during idling. Then slowly through gear positions ... meshing noise persists when selecting park .... although slightly reduced in harshness of sound level. Please bear with me and explain how do I remedy the transfer...
