Took my freelander to the garage, and it was the master cylinder. £120 for the cylinder and 1.5 hours labour. Works a treat now!

Thanks for that, I suspected it was the cylinder. Looks like I've got my first 'take it to the garage' fault.

Morning guys, my Freelander TD4 ES (2002) has developed a sticky clutch pedal. It goes down ok (although a bit squeaky), but sometimes stays down and I have to shove my foot under the pedal and ease it up. The clutch seems to work ok, so any ideas whats happening? This is the best car I've ever...
