cheers everyone.. i put bolts in the threaded holes before having it galvanised so i will heat it up before removing it.. hopefully it goes well.. i never thought of all those little inserts for the screws.. think i will just buy new ones as i will never get them all back out of the old...

thanks mick im in no panic anymore .. after reading about here and elsewhere i can see the importance of getting one thats some way decent.. do the sell esb ones that are 1990 or older or is it all newer stuff..

i ment i could ruin it tipping about the back roads of ireland drawing home turf in the summer and hunting in the winter lol.. it was out of my budget anyway

because if its over 20 years of age here you can get classic insurance.. this wont be a daily driver and i pay enough for insurance on my car.. also i like older vehicles..

so ive been reading and reading all evening.. and it seems there is no end to the trouble you can get from these bad boys.. however the problem is i still want one.. i will leave it a while and read about here,, maybe the right one will crop up at some stage.. i would ideally like to find one...
