I had overheat problems. Thought it might be blocked cooling system as radweld was used to fill water leak from bottom plugs. Then replaced thermostat but still got hot after ten minutes. In the end it was a new block. £3000 inc new rad, water pump labour and vat. That was a year ago. Not one...

Today was the day I've been dreading but knew was coming. The day the engine block cracked. The cause of the crack, besides the weak block, was the thermostat going and the engine overheating, not by much, on a long journey. I replaced the thermostat first @ £27 but the cooling system was over...

Could be the bore hole plug located under the n/s engine mount. It's a bugger to fix, not expensive,or try radweld. That worked on mine.

does anyone have any tips on how to get the heated rear screen to work when all the buttons and fuses are fine? I've been told that I will have to replace the whole rear door, seems excesiveto me. Thanks
