The more threads i read on this, the more confused I am getting. I am looking at a set of steel modular wheels that have come from a 2007 defender and have also been run on a 1998 disco. Will they fit my 1985 90? I cant seem to find a straight YES or NO answer!?!?:confused:

The rear cross member seems to be ok from the back, so just need to have a look at the back door, I am watching one on Ebay at the moment, if it turns out to be rotten.

I asked him to put the car through an MOT today for peace of mind, Good job too. It failed on the front suspension top mount, so he is doing this tomorrow. The chassis corrosion only came back as an advisory but still getting it done anyway. Had some other advisories too but the main thing...

£2500, and there is a patch behind each of the rear springs that will need welding, but he is going to do that before I collect. It has had some welding done beforehand to, but it will be cleaned down and any other welding then needs doing will be done then shultzed to within an inch of its life :)
