The body on my disco is starting to rot, may buy the Sahara kit stick on there instead of fixing it. Then get something else, more fuel efficient for a daily driver. Disco has to go as a daily driver this spring.

I looked at sticking a Defender body on a 100" frame(after watching "A 4x4 is Born"), but I want something a little bigger. I'd like 4 doors with a small pickup bed.

I'm near a rich area on the gulf coast. Rusted out RR classics are fairly easy to come by.

Its only ~2.17GPB($3.50USD) per gallon where I'm at, but when you've got a long ways to drive and a gallon only gets you 12 miles it gets expensive. I'm thinking about sticking RR classic or disco running gear underneath a Defender frame(LAND ROVER PARTS - CHASSIS DEFENDER 110 NAS GALVANIZED)...

I got **** drunk one night and passed out on a bench outside. Woke up a few hours later still drunk and covered in mosquitoes, so I stumbled over and climbed into the back seat of my disco and slept another 4 hours. Wasn't too bad, better than most other vehicles I've slept in. :p

From what I can tell the play is in the wheel bearing. The main oil seal is slightly wet and looks like it may be slowly leaking.

Hell, I'm on the gulf, its not suppose to. It got down to around 32 here one morning. Damn disco acted like it didn't want to start then knocked for a minute or two.

My disco hates the cold more than I do. :lol:

Can't say too much bad about the engineering on Land Rovers, but the build quality... The build quality leaves a little to be desired... :doh:

Lol @ MOT Glad we don't have something that strict here. I did some research and my disco would fail. Its got a messed up windshield wiper I've been to lazy to replace.
