ok new cap, rotor. cleaned everything and still no spark to the plugs.

thnks :) will clean every thing get a rotor -n- cap try a new battery and let you know how it goes. again thank you so much for all your help with my problems, and if I ever make to the UK I will buy you a drink or something.:D

ok but the intermitant cranking is only w/key I can just it with a screwdriver and it cranks every time. I have had the ign switch cleaned properly by an electrition ("just the back side w/the wires" not the whole key switch) could the problem be in the key switch?

na they dim, just called about a rotor and cap (thinking ahead) $68.00-rotor $39.00-cap. going to put battery out of my mustang in it to see if that helps.

ok dun the test with the king lead, it sparks (lightly) on the rotor arm , but the ocausional cranking is back, have checked the relays agian and still no good.

ok have checked and rechecked the coil, its good (works on my old mustang. talked to british pacific in Califonia who says its the ign. relay, so I un pluged the relay cleaned the terminals, put back in, and its still cranking fine. BP also says the spark or lack therof could be the rotor...

ok now it wount even turn over with the key, however it will when you cross the starter with a screw driver. any suggestions????

the. ciol is brand new, just replaced it . I might mention that this rig was in a flash flood last week. however, everything now works but the spark.

this is on a 1995 3.9 petrol. have checked all the fuses none blown.

I have changed the ign. coil and still no spark. the rig turns over but nothing. anny suggestions would be great.

ok so I hot wired the starter and it cranked over a few time then the starter just started spinnig without engaging. brobly needs a starter huh, as well as lots of other things.

no but I will. even if it does end up running should i CONSIDER PARTING IT and get another incase of future problems related to "the flood"

or should I just scrap it and get another??
