    had to replace the auto gearbox and transfer box on my 99 disco 2 v8 see other threads. Came to fit it all yesterday and have discovered the spline on the output shaft on the gearbox is diffrent to the previous one. Both gearboxs say zf4hp22. Do i now need to go out and buy another gearbox or...

    Hi all Well after what seemed to be the diff winding up due to the car making lots of clunks and bangs espically in reverse, then one lound bang followed by loss of drive on the auto box. I have purchased a gearbox zf4hp 22 and have now been told i need another transfer box.could anyone tell me...
