i have had a freelander td4 for couple of months got it very cheap from auction on 53 plate had some problems with it but dont mind as i aloud for that but really like it and still glad i got it there are alot of people on here that have had some bad thing go wrong with there freelanders but...

had 53 plate td4 with 78k on clock with little bit of history for 2 months now i know it was owned by a chap who worked on a farm so had bin worked hard it looks as if the prop bearings and the coupling have just been done i have had to change the sump plate as it was cracked and leaking oil...

yes the box has to come out for the slave to be done the slave has just gone on my td4 had to go get it from shops as it went when the wife borrowed it and had to drive it back without a clutch lol anyway rang landrover up going to cost about 500 so going to do it myself

just got one off ebay with the lights on the side it was ok to fit as the bumper had marks where to cut on the back of the bumper so not to bad to work out

oh glad i got 1 now lol

freelander td4 2003 I need help i keep loosing my clutch the pedal would go to the floor and not come back up checked under the engine and there was clutch fluid on the floor so thats pointing to the slave. Anyway never done a 4x4 clutch before and just wondering if there is anyone out...

hi just wondered if the fuel cut off switch has cut in as its electrical just something to try i think its up close to the fuse box under the bonnet
