behind the dash not underneath, from other forum descriptions it sounds like air in the heater matrix, where or how it is getting in is the mystery

no suds in oil, no smell of fuel in water, and no water running, no signs of water loss at all just the drop in levels

HG failure has been diagnosed once the coolant leak was evident, as it was leaking on the drivers side, think its a snap decision, but as it has been overnight i haven't been able to pinpoint the leak. tends to leak when very cold at night

yesit does and it only makes noise in first or second gear at low revs

i was told by the garage that the HG is not always successful

i am bald so the second is a non runner

garage has advised replacing the engine as the best option, not to bother with trying to do the HG.

garage reckons its the HG as well just hoping it may be something else
