Thanks Stanley. I'm still no further on in getting the old Alpine radio to have full functionality with the CD autochanger and the remote control buttons on the steering so have just put the Blaupunkt H/U back in. We live in hope! Back to the Stag resto for the time being!

Hello again Andy, I've been very busy recently and just got round to checking out the back door this morning - it has a sub woofer fitted. Maybe get out the multimeter today or tomorrow and try to find out where these odd-coloured wires in the grey connector pins 2 and 3 are going to. G
