Hi fokes I've just brought a 300tdi bulkhead for my rebuild. I was thinking about sending it to be galvanised. Is there any prep work I can do. Do I need take a frame to stop it warping so much. Best place to take it. Any advice would be great thanks. Steve

I'll get my money back which is ok. I would stick with it and strip it down myself but there seems to be a lot under the car that can soon swallow a few hundred quid. Good engines tho but **** all round.

Yeah I can select every gear without pressing the clutch. There is a little resistance in a couple of gears. And I've tried the car in gear and start car but still nothing. I put it in gear and looked under the car and the prop shaft is juddering. And you can hear a noise once you let the clutch...

Ok thanks I will give that ago in the morning. Just a quick question why should this work by turn off the landy put it in gear then try to start it. Only asking as I'm a novice at this stuff. Cheers steve

It's a td4 2001. No there is no grinding the gear lever moves like it's going in gear but I don't know if it is , and I don't even have to press the peddle. I've never drove a freelander before and she told me it has been get harder to get it in gear.
