I am in the process of replacing one of the swivel housings and eventually got the bloody thing off! I’m going to replace all the bolts etc and noticed when ordering that there are two types, one which appears to be a normal bolt and another a dowel bolt - is this correct? And my other questions...
Was wondering if the weather had anything to do with it as I first noticed it after it had been raining during the night, living in Fort William, this is a regular occurrence!!! But it gets better once the engine has warmed up / dried out.
When the engine is underload or driving it goes away, or I just cant hear it, but its certainly reduced. Yes, its happens and is more noticeable when stationary, revving the engine slightly makes it go away. I'll check the ideler pulleys, cheers
