    Nope, honestly, I’ve sanded the cylinder all the way down to the lock casing! I’ve looked at it so closed all the way around. I just don’t get it?! I’ve changed the front door barrel and found the brass pin without a problem. I’ll take off again and may have to take a different direction…...

    Thanks, but as mentioned in my original post, there is no hole. I had already watched the video and referred to the Haynes manual re inserting the key and depressing the brass pin. I cannot understand why there is no hole, even after sanding the sleeve down to bare steel, in search of the hole...

    Rear lock issue….

    Hi all. I have bought a genuine Land Rover lock set (ignition, keys and 3 barrels). I’ve taken the rear door lock off my 2005 TD5 and cannot find the hole through which I am supposed to depress a brass plunger. I have sanded it down to bare metal to see if it was covered but nothing!
