I just use one of them FM things that clip onto the Ipod, then sends the signal to the radio....works and sounds great. Thought about a CD player but whats the point!!

LOL Dillon, ...I think that both petrol and diesels are not without fault, and both have there fans, If cost of ownership, mpg's etc are an issue then anything built by Landrover may not be the best choice. For me its the fun factor, and the V8 provides that little extra. Most cars on the roads...

:eek: I dunno, petrol is cheeper per ltr. The mpg on the diesels is not massivley better, and they can just about go fast enough to get flashed. I recon that you would have to do quite a bit more miles per year to make the diesel argument stand strong. ..Curlys arguement that he gets free fuel...

I think the easyest way to see if its the RF reciever is to disconect it for a few days (just unplug the arial behind right rear parcel shelf). If it charges ok with no problems after that, thats it! Dont forget to point your remote at right rear window up close to lock/unlock.

I think it has to be said that most of us V8 owners would rather push them than drive a diesel :D :D :D

Yep, funny, I was thinking the other day that I should change the gearbox oil, 'cause mines getting a bit 'clunky' but still not too bad.......so I think i'll wait for the spring :)

Thats thrown a spanner in the works.....Ok then, I done a short test this morning with my 95 4.0 SE, it changes into 4th at about 45mph (flat streight road). So... I might have a problem I didnt know I had...!!!??!!

OK then. What about brakes binding, or wheels not spinning freely??, I think I'd look in that direction first.

Dont panic......just had a simular problem, turned out to be blocked radiator. See if the top hose is hard when hot, if it is, continue to panic, if its not and the oils not milky it could be waterpump thuromstet or rad. Do a search on the net to find out more, theres loads of help out there!!
