    Loss of power below 2000rpm

Power loss is from idle so 750 up to approx 2000 when the turbo kicks in. I havent noticed any smoke really, but haven't been able to drive it for about 2 weeks now. There might have been slightly more smoke but couldn't be sure.

Thanks Chaser and Phantom mark, I was reading the RAVE cd last night and read the same, but wasn't sure if it was just me looking for solutions. recessed fog lights for a face lift...

Hi, Iv got the pod style driving lamps fitted to mine, as per my picture. Moog the difference with the pod style fogs and the pod style driving lamps as I far as I can tell is that the driving lamps will only come on when the full beam is used whereas the fogs can be put on with the dipped...

Hi, Thanks for the advice refering to Roverron, I have heard of him but didnt want to go down this route as its not fixing the original problem its merely covering it up with something else, which might then somehow cause another problem later on. Chaser, Yes it is a main land rover dealer...

Hi, having a problem with my freelander, there is a loss of power from idle to 2000rpm(approx) when the turbo kicks in. I have searched on here and thought it would be the MAF sensor, so checked it by unpugging it and it ran much better, so replaced it with a new one, but its not fixed the...

    Fog lights

Do you mean to fit lights to be used as fog lights? You could possibly fit lights in the lower grill wired up to the switch for the fog lights. Im not sure how much the lights would effect the cooling of the car but would have thought that small lights would not cause much of a problem (but im...

    driving lamp kit

Its a realy simple hole to cut out if you use the template, you stick it on the bumper using masking tape or similar, then you simple pilot drill (about 3mm) through the paper template and the bumper where you are shown by the crosses. Then take the template off and use a junior hacksaw blade...

    driving lamp kit

It just involves a drill, small file, screwdrivers and abit of tape, think I also used a skewer to help get the wire through the grommet in the bulkhead into the cabin. The hardest bits in fitting is the drilling the hole in the bumper (I didnt want to cut a hole in my nice new car) and pushing...

best 225x55x17 tyres for my fat chick?

If I rotated say every 5000miles the wear differance should be only very small? Shouldn't this keep them all at about the same tread depth therefore little wear on the drivetrain, surely rotating them frequently is better than having to buy 4 new tires everytime 2 wear down?
