Yes please keep us posted. My D2 2001 TD5 auto bog std except for stage 1 Alive remap does about 22mpg, general running about & about 25-27 on a run. Out of interest what mpg do you get out of yours ? All the best.

Talking of farmers not letting stuff go, this has sadly been in the same spot for over 20 yrs ! I did talk to someone a couple of years ago who does odd jobs on the farm & he said he thinks the farmer has had offers but either not enough or just wants it to rot away completely 🤔 such a shame...

I was only thinking maybe had a replacement BCU manufactured in 2019 ? I know they use what week of the year stuff was made, the 19 could be the week in the year it was made but how you decipher the year from the rest who knows, if indeed it is a date code at all.

Hi, had a quick look at the window switch you sent back & as you can see from the pic the contacts are a bit burnt :) but nothing a clean won't fix so as suggested it would be worth checking your heated seat switch,all the best.

Hi, if yours are old/perished & you have any signs of oil leaking/misting it will be worth replacing them. I used BP ones & the rubber part started perishing within weeks (but they don't leak like the old ones), see pic, having said that I still haven't got round to fitting my genuine ones yet...

Hi all, looking at the mudflaps at the rear end of the side steps the top fixing (which is plenty long enough) looks like it should go through the conveniently placed hole in the chassis outrigger but it would mean bending the other bracket (circled in pic), any thoughts ?

Hi,as above or you can buy pattern replacement pipes. Getting the old pipes/seals out of the valve block can be/is a PITA & when you refit with new collets & seal make sure you get every & I mean every bit of the white powder corrosion stuff out of the block or you won't get the seals/pipes back...

What year is your D2 ? If it's pre-facelift with a 10P engine then it's probably a EU2 if it's a facelift model with a 15 or 16P engine then it's more than likely EU3. The EGR is what is circled in the pic. people either replace that part with a 'blank' item or put a blanking plate in the pipe...
