I did bump start it ok and it run up but again when switched the ignition off it would not start finally got it sorted with the help of the friendly rac it was the starter motor afterall the wife has got the knack of it now with the help of her umbella and a few good whacks in the right place...

its a brand new battery (avon battery 096) the dash lights are bright and come on and go off as they should,no dimming of the headlights as i turned the key,the click comes from the back end.i think i may have disturbed something when fitting the clutch master and slave cylinder as its a bitch...
