    The biggest difference was made be removing the EGR valve replacing it with a egr delete, it looks the same but without the valve inside.

    I then noticed a delay when moving off I changed the crankcase filter for a modification I bought from BMW that improved things.

    It all started with a banging underneath when cornering,it turned out to be the bearings both sides of the VCR joint on the prop.

    My 06 freelander TD4 had an MOT today and passed. The emissions I was concerned about were 0.86 the max is 1.50. I put 250mm of low ash mineral 2 stroke oil in a tank of fuel and had removed the EGR valve for a delete.The PCV filter was also changed for the BMW modification. No more worries, I hope.
