power getting to the heated seats on my disco 2 on both sides but heat not working, switches are working fine, volt meter ok ?

please can any sincere disco 2 owners help

finally purchased a disco. to find both sunroofs have been duck taped around the seals ?
i presume that they leak, as someone has said this is a common problem. GR8
i look forward to reading all your posts relating to this issue and others.

can anyhbody help.
i am thinking of upgrading my freelander 1 (1999). i have just taken it down to 2 wheel drive as the transfer box blew up and i'm fed up of replacing bushes etc.
i am thinking of a 2006 freelander td4 es.
my question is, have the faults been resolved from the 1st freelanders or am i in for more of the same problems with this later model ?
