First was to fit the aecond hand genuine rad with an electric cooling fan, then I made some new water pipes out of copper and sprayed them black along with making a stainless bracket to support them off the rocker cover bolt. Then I fitted the air cleaner along with a new filter and new hose (then realised when I was throwing the old hose out that there was a coil spring fitted inside to stop the hose from collapsing when air was being drawin through! I then decided to take apart the dash clocks, stripped the speedo and rebuilt with some parts from a second hand one, adjusted the milage to correspond with the miles that the engine had done (22k) worked it out with Turners reciept for the engine and MOT history and its ready to be put back together. What type of copper did you use, I'm sure normal house copper can get stress fractures, from constant vibration.
