Is the aircon fan motor available to buy for a D2 Td5 (2004).
Apparently the fuse has blown and the fan motor has seized up, although a poke with a screwdriver got it working again for now. Hoping it will stay working, but I doubt it. So might be wise to investigate the availability and options.

Mine did the same but wasn’t salvageable, I did look on ebay though and there is a lot on there that should work as a replacement but they’re expensive, so I’d have a look and see if there are any used on there a bit cheaper.

try searching: Landrover Discovery 2 Td5/V8 Air Con Fan JRP100000

Just noticed you said motor, the motor itself, no.

This is the motor, but currently out of stock. I know many have used it.

Thanks for the reply.
Didn't know if the motor was available separately or with fan blade as a complete unit.

Yeah, Rockauto for mine as well

Unfortunately that motor seems obsolete all over the place, i bought one as well about 2 years ago then sent the bad one to a rewinding service and they made it like new for half the price so i keep that for spare.
That is a real shame. This one, https://www.rockauto.com/en/moreinf...MQ8z9/iocbHAV+zD7XVfmaXuQRHc7c6gglFAZYH22FA==
is very similar it seems, just a very small difference in size. Perhaps it's adaptable with less work than fitting some aftermarket fan.

Just a thought.
