Hi All, just acquired a 2012 Freelander 2 after years of Jag and Vauxhall ownership. Had a couple of FL1's in the past and this seems a decent upgrade from memory.
Planning a remap with a company I've used before which will lift it from 150 to 210bhp. Last time I got much better torque spread and improved fuel economy which I'm hoping will be repeated with the FL2.
 
Yes, the engines are easy to add power to apparently although its the torque I prefer. They do check the cars thoroughly to ensure they are well maintained prior to the remap. They last did my Insignia SRI up from 165 to 209bhp on the Dyno.
