Thats why we went out on classic car tours. Recovery company organised & re patriate your car if broke(happened twice to 1 car)Air tight back to UK recovery
That's a new one on me, I've just bought a pair of General Grabbers for the back while I have Goodyear all terrains on the front.Bits you most likely already have, Yellow f/vests for everyone in the car, red triangle, now in France on a 4x4 all tyres must be same mark and about the same tread level on the same axle, you need a UK sticker for the back not a GB, head light beam deflectors, hope you have a good time
When I took my Kit car club members to Normandy, we had break downs. One chap boiled up so regularly I awarded him the "kettle award" at our Christmas do!Thats why we went out on classic car tours. Recovery company organised & re patriate your car if broke(happened twice to 1 car)

Little MG had a car pull out on it on the way to the ferry in Portsmouth. Had to have a be headlamp fitted(we supplied the landrover one which fits)When I took my Kit car club members to Normandy, we had break downs. Another's clutch cable broke. "No problem", says he, "I have a spare".
Well he did, but wrong length, he had to do the rest of the week changing gear with his left knee hitting his ear!
Another guy with a V12 Cobra had a really dodgy distributor. He ended up being towed back to Le Havre behind a V8 Morgan copy. The tow rope kept breaking, by the time they arrived at the port there was about 5 feet between them.
We were our own recovery peeps!
So the same car needed repatriating twice? wot? He bruck down got home and came straight back out again??? Only to break down again???

do not know how much they will look at a UK reg car but think they get stopped more than before as looking for cars that are there permanently, but still have UK plates these cars are normally SORN with a French CT which no one cared about too much about beforeThat's a new one on me, I've just bought a pair of General Grabbers for the back while I have Goodyear all terrains on the front.
Oh well!!
Thort it was only yellow vests for front bench.
BUT if you have to wear glasses you do need to have a spare pair.
