Pickup tub to truck cab bulkhead modification possible?

I've got a pickup back that's too far gone to be salvageable. I was just going to scrap it - it's been offroaded and the dents have gone beyond dents and turned into tears... It's not even worth plating it.


But the front end of it is ok, where the bulkhead is.


How much difference is there between the bulkhead on the pickup tub and the truck cab / hicap bulkhead?

Could I trim in the right place, fold over the edges and fit the appropriate capping for the corners?

I'm unsure of exactly what happens under the "light capping" (that clearly won't have lights!) on the truck cab bulkheads. Otherwise they look, basically, the same, right?

I don’t think there is a difference.not near my motor till the week end if you need photos.

truck cab would sit in the same place as a normal landrover
Remove wheel arch/internals up to the flat back of the bulkhead,remove rear light cluster cappings & cover up the new corners
Think that’s what we done for a king cab and added a bit in the middle of the truck cab roof to keep the same looks/profiles
