Morning all,

I've got some work to do on Betty, I've got 5 days off work to do it. I need to weld in the new boot floor, so while I'm taking the time to do this I've order all the OEM bushes for (Radius Arms, Anti-roll bars, Trailing Arm, A-Frame upper link, Steering / Drag link)
My question is, as I want to de-crust them and paint the chassis where they fit:-

Can I remove all of the above at the same time, without causing myself a headache later trying to fit them. I could work with doing the N/S first refit, then the O/S, just need to take into account the paint drying time.

Thanks in advance!

No major things to worry about, hardest part is putting the trailing arms back into place you might need a ratchet strap to
pull the axle. :)

For the trailing arm return I have found that using two jacks works a teat - and don't tighten up the nut on the radius arm to chassis cross member

one jack under the axle and one under the bottom of the radius arm

i bet you the second side that you do will be a quarter of the time needed for the first one

gravy, ok thanks for the replies troops!
I'll crack on tomorrow once the project starts.

Likely I'll get some pics up.

So update, managed to get them sorted now. Nearside was easy to get out but a complete and utter &^%$ to get back in, while the offside was the other way round. Ended up having to strap the axle to chassis with a strap and pull it in to get the nut started on the chassis - ended up ****ting myself with the good end of a hammer lol...
