I had the transfer box on one of mine out this weekend. The high low lever pivot bolts to the bellhousing. The round hook sits on top of the ball, and bolts to the lever. The 4x4 dog clutch release has a pivot on the front output casing.

I'm going to say it could be exhaust related, check all the unions

Footwell replacement is going to be more difficult than anticipated. Someone has replaced them in the past and seam welded them in.🤔

Awkward. Much precise grinder work required.

Can of worms. Paint man has a good reputation. Paint type. It would have been an solvent based paint, single component originally. Over time the rest of the panels will have faded and lost their gloss. Paint man can get you the exact colour...

I've most bits. Awaiting the inset pieces that slot into the gutter. Craddocks had them listed but no sign as of yet.

@British Leyland Rover What colour is that? Mine looks similar (mines MUCH less tidy), though with cameras and screens. Hard to tell.

I'm not sure if they ever were standard. I'm going to see where the rope ends up and fit them there. Mostly new to me, this 3/4 hood idea.

I am still looking. The hood hasn't arrived. Not even sure if it had been made yet! So, if you could, that would be appreciated!

I thought it was just an interference fit. Clean and stuff into the groove. You could go crazy with tiger seal if you wanted to, but the next person to change the seals will hate you

What does it do? Does it reduce the traditional petrol smell from the engine area in use?
