D2 Td5 Nanocom (or similar) - BCU and instruments

Thank you Don't wish to be pendantic or offend but did you read the original post? :) "Questions to the D2 Nanocom owning community: Is this the case that the cluster can be configured and if so, anyone close to PE28 that I can visit, swap cash for time, and see if I can configure the cluster...

D2 Td5 Nanocom (or similar) - BCU and instruments

Thank you for the advice, which purely coincidently, I believe is what I was asking in the original post: "Questions to the D2 Nanocom owning community: Is this the case that the cluster can be configured and if so, anyone close to PE28 that I can visit, swap cash for time, and see if I can...

D2 Td5 Nanocom (or similar) - BCU and instruments

This was a comment on the htread I posted last year (which seemed to kill the thread). Hawkeye Total does not have a module or menu option for Autographics sadly in any section including the BCU section. Not sure why as your previous comment did highlight that the Hawkeye classic does have this...

D2 Td5 Nanocom (or similar) - BCU and instruments

Posted similar a year ago but thread went dead and have lived with it since. My 2003 D2 Td5 auto instruments do not display: - which gear selected in the ODO lcd panel - Green M and S lights - glow plug warning light All tests carried out indicate these functions are working OK (XYZ switch...

Discovery Td5 Instrument cluster config or programming

There’s no autographics option like that on my Hawkeye Total.

Discovery Td5 Instrument cluster config or programming

BCU is under security, then there is a live data option and a programming option that covers most of the accessory type options and their settings. This includes an auto or manual option and an option to stop the mileage flashing on and off but that’s it. 30 options or so but only those 2 that...

Discovery Td5 Instrument cluster config or programming

I have a 53 plate Discovery 2 Td5 Auto. In fact I have 2, and the subject vehicle of this post might end up being sold. Its a lovely car in good nick, but has a few teething problems I am trying to solve, having lived with them since buying it but now deciding it would be nice to fix them in...

    Discovery 2 For sale £1500 - Discovery 2 53 plate V8 ES auto

Bodywork - Deep metallic blue with a few chips and marks but good for a 15 year old car. Heated windscreen has 3 chips which have been no problem for past MOTs. Some corrosion along the upper windscreen trim. Note roof bars are not included. Apologies it is quite dirty in the pictures. I washed...

    Another D2 central locking nuancr

Thanks for the replies. Very useful. Just to confirm a few bits of info, yes, I get a mislock horn blast when I lock the car. The courtesy light behaviour also confirms this, as the manual says that if a door is left open, the courtesy lights turn off after 8 minutes rather than the much...

    Another D2 central locking nuancr

Searched the forum and I can’t find another thing quite like this, so apologies for another central locking post. My 2001 D2 has a door not registering closed which I need to track down. Pretty sure it’s not the bonnet though! If the car is left for 6 hrs or so, the fob no longer works the...

    TD5 Rave

Apologies for asking a question that has been asked a million times!! I am really struggling to find an answer. I have an NAS version of RAVE as only ever owned V8 Discoveries or V6 Freelanders. I now have a TD5 Discovery and cannot find a link to the TD5 engine RAVE manual anywhere. Could...

Ahhh the old Freelander clunking from the rear again...

Top strut mount all seems secure. There are 2 relays in that location that are meant to be mounted onto tabs on the bodywork but were hanging loose. Doubt it was them, but they are secured now. On to the exhaust and drive shafts next weekend.

Ahhh the old Freelander clunking from the rear again...

Thanks for the ideas. I know the subframe is tight as I checked for the captive nut issue that seems quite common on earlier ones. The exhaust is a good point. The rubbers are intact, but the OS one is certainly past its best and looks quite stretched. I will check the drive shafts as well, as...

Ah well, I guess I have hit upon a brand new Hippo noise. As I investigate I will update in case anyone else comes across it.
