    Cured it, air temp was loose connection to the sensor tucked up behind the throttle intake, the oil does indeed have an oil temp sensor price @ £175+ it is located at the front just below the starter motor, luckily again, a loose connection, but a fiddly bugger to do due to lack of space...

    Hi, it's a freelander2 07. 2.2td. I've checked removed every fuse on it, there are 2 codes permanent oil temp, air intake temp, new sensors are on order, when I reconnect the battery other codes come up 1 relates to the BCM
