Probably better buying two of the same if you can't clean.
I bought two in bumper lights for my 1999 D2 after a BMW decided to write itself off with my rear end.
First MoT afterwards earned me an advisory, he said they where too pink !?
Yes a faulty Turbo will give you excess smoke, not sure how accessible it is on the D3 but try and loosen it off with penetrating oil. Take off the pipe and have a feel of the vanes, they should spin quite freely with barely no in/out movement.
I had a look at those codes relating to the L322 ( i assume they would be the same)
They seem to relate to an electrical issue more than anything else.
I could go back and find them later if you would like, But as what I have is for the L322...
Made up a couple.of map pocket presses to make sure the headlining sticks in the corners.
A bit of profiled skirting and 36mm waste pipe !!!
Bolt goes through the fixing hole in the roof to pull them in firmly.
Started in middle at the net bag recesses, then finished rear then front.
First two I did were sunroof ones. Doing the plain roof later this week. Hope it is smooth at the front, the sunroof hole allows for slack to be taken out !!
No idea about Chinese compressor but they are not known as -
Chinese Replacement Auto Parts for nothing !
I did think it could possibly be a fault with one of the height sensors but don't know why that would stop the compressor working.
Have you...
Engine swaps are common, the engine blocks are physically compatible, so it's possible that it has a new engine somewhere along the way.
Or the factory got it wrong.....
So long as the log book and the vehicle match, all is good.
Then it's not a fuel pressure issue, i'm affraid it's something serious or something hilariously simple but missed, a nanocom or similar is needed to diagnose it step by step based on live inputs and to swap the ECU with known good one eventually...
Coming to this late so forgive me if I'm way off. If it starts with East Start then stops after a few seconds then to me that suggests a fuelling issue. If you know diesel getting to the FPR there are ways to check if it getting to injectors.
I...
It needs proper diagnosis with a Nanocom or similar, but it is very weird that it suddenly stopped dead. That doesn't usually happen.
Have you checked that the fuel shut off on the bulkhead, passenger side, designed to stop the engine in the...
Ok, it's been a while so don't shoot me if I'm wrong.
Amp behind LHR Qtr panel, Blue Tooth RHR Qtr, Head Unit in centre of dash and I am pretty sure there was one under the LHS front seat.
Orange cable with black two pin connecters. Bare ends...
Morning everyone, probably a good place for an introduction.
Disco Mk1 TDi owner now fitted with a 3.9 V8 EFi, unimog diffs and axles, Fox Racing suspension plus a NP205 crawler box and a Magnum transfer case. I went for a short drive looking...
This is the second one I've put on, the previous lasted about 3 years.
I think it gets rotted-out by the oily air/mist or drips blown-out by the turbo...(?)
Do the silicon ones resist the oil for longer?
I tend to keep cars for a very long...
If you look closely behind my MGA you will notice that although they have marked up the bays for horrible electric vehicles they have not actually installed the chargers yet so we felt it perfectly acceptable to block the modern plastic...
I would begin by making sure that both bulbs are correctly seated - if the bulb is rotated from where it should sit, the blob of solder on the base of the bulb could short across. So, take the lenses off, put the tail lights on, and gently...
One of our cars, an i30 Hyundai, failed it mot with a rear number plate bulb out, and a poor handbrake. They missed the broken rear spring, and rotten rust holed rear trailing arm. I'm going to use that garage again... lol
The Freelander 2 doesn't have an electric lift pump. The pump in the tank is a transfer pump, which is only there to pump fuel from one side of the tank to the other, as the propshaft goes through the middle of the tank, splitting it into two...
I'm not sure if the F2 wiring diagrams are on here, but this is a link to them...
