The panel on the Sport is held in place by a series of trim clips. Use a plastic wedge or trim tool to lift one corner, then work your way around carefully popping each on out, I think there are ten. You will need to disconnect the close button...
Before you buy anything two things to do
1: try smacking the starter with a hammer to see if it unsticks
2: the battery cables have nuts and bolts on them where other cables connect to the main battery cables make sure they are not loose and are...
Gorra be honest, never seen that before.
You've done a battery reset, next step could be hard reset, disconnect both battery leads and touch them against each other.
Worth a go ?
Knock the knurled adjuster nut with a stout screwdriver or small chisel they will turn, also use some plus gas on them.

Also give the drum a few good knocks al round with a lump hammer
Have you backed of the knurled nut on the brake shoes, if not then do that as well as adjusting the handbrake cable in between the seats.
Rear of the brake drum remove the oval grommet, this will expose the knurled nut.

I opened up my receiver box to expose the printed circuit and left to dry in tub of dry rice.
An overnight in airing cupboard had it operating again after refit.
Did a LR Experience in a FL2 some years back the Freelander went 90% of the same route as the bigger cars.
They will surprise you for most use.
Just be aware LRE are expensive. I would shop around for local off road instruction and explain to...
Thank you so much for your reply
My wife has a 2014 HSE that I wanted her to see how capable they are for 'mild' off roading and what is the best way to use the terrain response.
That why I was looking specifically for a FR2, incidentally we did...
Having resolved my issue, secured a refund, and avoided legal action, I can now share my experience.
Outlined below is a summary of the facts and that is all I'll leave you to draw your own conclusions.
On 6th February, I ordered a Marshall...

So what work did you have in mind for them to do?
J
Yes I think that you are correct. I am going to leave it with my own mechanic to see if he can fix it, and in the interim I will look into the possibility of having it transported to him. I don’t know him personally but he has been in LR business...
Yes 100Km is a long way but if you have no one local and it has you stumped then I would be considering it.
If this guy is recommended and you trust him a recovery may be money well spent ?
Nanocom or similar standard will be a best choice.
But, if it were me I would be spending my money on something like Foxwell or Autell. I know many will say you need a dedicated machine but it would be nice to use them on a variety of vehicles.
So I changed the Crank Sensor tonight and the car is running. No stops or jolts so far. I am too scared to drive it around the block because I don't want to sit there for hours waiting for a recovery van. So just running it on the drive for now...
Thanks all for the replies. I fitted a new battery recently, so I went for purchasing a crank sensor and a fuel filter because it has never been changed for years. The parts arrived today so I will be fitting them this weekend unless it is...
Presume you have self closing tailgate with powered struts ? These have anti trap feature to reduce accidents.
I'm guessing they are sensing an obstruction and reopening for safety.
Few things to check, make sure the tailgate seal is correctly...
OOh, it's been a long time but if I recall. Fold down seat and where the bracket holds the seat in the corner there is a lever which has to be pressed, this releases the bracket. Then lift up slightly and bring it away from the centre.
I seem to...
TDi or petrol Grace?
White smoke is coolant in the engine, so what does the filler cap look like? Any ‘milkshake’? Or the dipstick looking ‘odd’, ie anything more than clean dark oil on it?
I know you said it wasn’t like your D2 blowing it’s...
