A long time ago, I had a test drive in a brand new Classic when I was looking for a replacement vehicle. Unfortunately, the gear lever came out in my hand so the journey back the the dealers was in second gear! I purchased an XJS instead.

I towed my caravan to the UK and visited my folks in Yorkshire, the P38 coped fine with Holme Firth.

The funny thing is, the L322 is basically a BMW... But then 30-odd year old BMW SUV are dirt cheap as well. Less capable off-road so.

My P38 gives me a darn sight less trouble than your L322.

For the egr valve pull the vacuum hose off and plug the pipe with a bolt and you will not have any more problems with it as it will not work anymore and clog the engine with junk :vb-biggrin:
