That's good information, thanks.

Yes.
For the D1 there's a low lamp mount bar, where the lamps mount ontop.
The defender has a much taller lamp mount bar, where the lamps mount underneath.
Both appear to bolt down to the top of the front bumper:
Defender as in the first post...

Thanks for the reply.
I think I've found it online and that it is this one:

I'll leave it for now, but thanks again.

The flat top surface of the front bumper on mine has already had some random holes drilled in it by someone. Drilling more to bolt this one on instead of the ones intended for discoveries would be easy enough.
It's whether it looks okay, doesn't stick out too much, isn't too tall etc. as you say.

Has anyone ever fitted one of the Defender nudge bars that can have spotlights mounted to them on a Discovery 1 bumper?

Thanks, I'll take a look. I haven't been to the museum since I was a kid so it's probably worth doing both at the same time next time it's on.

That first link is helpful, seems to suggest that the parts outside of the wing all fit, and that the difference is the airbox end which doesn't worry me as a 200tdi airbox just has a round inlet.
My main concern is the profile of the wing mount and whether the curvature will be a good fit to...

Is this show worth attending next year? It's not too far from me but I've never been.

I saw a post on this forum stating that D1 and D2 southdown snorkels are the same.
The only part that I can think of as being critical is the part that mounts to the wing, both in terms of angle that the pipe going up the wing comes out at, and the curvature of the base so that the fitment to...

Can't get out in the near future but hoping to do so later this year.

Hi!
I have a 5door 200tdi discovery in the UK.
Interestingly, it is a Japanese reimport which means it is fitted with an EGR and AC.
Will upload pictures at some point.
Here for the advice/resources of fellow members and also to make sales and wanted posts when I have enough posts to post in...

OME springs and dampers ride nicely on an otherwise standard discovery 1.
Tyres also make a difference. If you bought it on a 4" lift does it also have mud-spec tyres or similar? More road-biased tyres at stock height should get it at least close to normal, although obviously it's still a...

Hi, do you still have the diff guard and is it for a defender/disco1?
Thanks
