Owned a Series III diesel SWB with factory fitted overdrive, two Series III LWB petrols (one ex-MOD) hard & soft top (last 109 was converted to 12 volt with Turner unleaded head), Classic Range Rover V8 Auto. 5 door with carbs, owned at different times four Discovery 300 TDI and one 200 TDI, rolled my last 300 TDI (had it 9 years), it was running better at 142k miles than at 42k. Just replaced the written off 300 TDI with a full spec last of the Discovery TD5, also run a Freelander TD4. Range Rover 1994 200TDI last of the hard dash on an M plate factory fitted manual box, fully loaded. Sold to a man from London who had it completely restored he sent me the restoration photo's, wonderful job, wish I had it back. I'm now running 2.5 NA diesel 110 Military soft top 1994 and a 2001 Range Rover P38 Vogue with factory fitted Six Cylinder BMW diesel unit, still on Air Springs, all original. The Dash Board regularly lights up like a Christmas Tree and its temperamental at the best of times, but when it does run right its just brilliant to drive. Bought my first Land Rover 33 years ago, had something with an green oval badge ever since.
