Usually RF interference waking the BECM, so disconnect the RF antenna from the receiver. It's under the offside rear shelf.

RF interference (loads on here) or aftermarket stereo draining it - usually switched and permanent live mixed up. Or headlight wipers not parked properly.

@britaddict add your town name to your forum profile. Might be someone nearby that could help with RAVE.

Although I agree it's unlikely to be the IACV, worth checking & cleaning anyway. Are all the LPG hose secure on the manifold ? Prob worth cleaning the throttle body & checking for leaks there as well.

The Blaupunkt one is 400€ or £450 from a UK seller !! I put one of these in my Blue P38. And yes changed the backlighting to green !! Sounds good, and because the speaker outs are floating (effectively balanced), it worked out of the box...

Check crank sensor & connector. It's down the left passenger side of the engine, & a common location for oil or moisture to get in. When it dies, do other electrics cut out as well ? I had an issue with the main battery connection on a...

Connect Nanocom & record GEMS while driving. Might be something logged to give a clue ?

Usually jumper links to split the battery into smaller & lower voltage sections. There will also be a main contactor to isolate the battery from the BMS when required. Many now have low voltage jumper somewhere to allow emergency services to...

Steering buttons depend on what type & brand you go for. There are adapters for most of the mainstream suppliers like Pioneer, sony, Kenwood, etc. If you're going Android then every unit I've used has SWC Inputs, and you program the steering...

Not based on any fact, but my guess would be with grooves slanted towards rear of car, then the inner end hits the pad first & at slightly slower rotational speed. Maybe less pad impact, therefore less noise & pad wear ?? Only real way to tell...

Just been outside & checked mine. With HEVAC set to 16deg, the compressor engaged for 2-3 min & was getting cold air from the vents with a minute of starting. The compressor then cycled on & off roughly every 30-40 seconds. It will also...

Didn't do the sunroof panel when I did my headlining - it wasn't sagging or dirty. I suspect the sunroof mechanism needs to be lowered - wait for a few dry days !!

Nanocom will show all the HEVAC sensors. The evaporator sensor is in the right side of the heater box & shows how cold that's getting. If it's below 6deg, that as above check the flaps are moving to the cold position. The values of the...

Get a thermometer on the high & low side pipe & compare the temperature. FYI, my little Merc C180 Coupe wasn't getting cold at idle, so checked the pressures at idle & 2500rpm. All looked ok, but the vents weren't as cold as expected. Then I...

Also did they put enough gas in it ? P38 needs 1200g which is a lot more than most modern cars..

Still worth checking the battery CCA/EN capacity even if it's "only 18 months old" . . .

Yes I know that because you said it before, but it was a simple question given the amount of work involved. No "gotcha" content included.

That looks like a google AI result. Name a car (not mercan) that still uses gearbox output for speed ?
