It wasn't me, way over my head. I worked on aircraft for 24 years but the car system is beyond me. It took a guy who knows the ford engine to work it out. Took him 30 mins.

Being a Scout Leader, my opinion that the colour is very close to the purple in the Scout Badge. It was owned by a Lytham St. Annes Troop for 15 years. To me it's the Purple Beast. Mauve beast - I think not. :eek:

Turns out to be a fault in the immobiliser system. Rear passanger door wiring damaged sending an error signal to the ECU.
