Today I'm planning on replacing the in tank fuel pump so I can use all the fuel before it cuts out, bodge up a retaining pin for a handbrake shoe, replace the siren sounder module and stop a coolant leak on the TD6 top hose branch thingy.
That's...
This was the thread. Always popped up even in Google searches trying to figure out my problem 😂

Looking like IID Tool was able to clear the faults. Will keep an eye for the moment but it's achieved more than a few code readers have managed to do. Also turned off cold monitoring of the bulbs (hopefully) so will see what happens there...
It's YWC500281 HW:07/SW:2.1 which looking at google results suggests it's about right.
The VIN coded in is correct as well.
Reading round a few BMW sites suggests it backs up the configuration file and uses this if the primary file fails...
Not sure about previous owners replacing it but there's no tamper dot on the display. The fact the lights flicker with the bulb test suggests it's intended for normal incandescent bulbs so I'm thinking it is original.
Hi Guys
2006 L322 Vogue TD6
Got an odd one here. I have tried searching but only seem to find a thread about coffee and walnut cake and lemon drizzle from a few years back.
Got 20 fault codes permanently stored in the LCM which I cannot clear...
Well, finally figured it all out.
Got trailered back to Oxford last night and spent the day messing about.
There seemed to be a few issues all rolled into one. Exactly which one was the cause I don't know.
The steering lock was duff, managed...
Pretty much abandoned for now, will try the coil in the morning and if that fails steal a family members car for the weekend and get the AA to drag it home Monday if they will.
Been playing a lot lot more but still no idea.
Voltage at the switch appears to be correct so pretty happy that's OK.
Put everything back together and still can't turn the key. It's looking like the immobiliser isn't being turned off, ie not...
Hi guys
Drove 200 miles last night, parked up and came out to it this morning and it's a non starter.
Couldn't turn key in ignition. Thought steering lock so tried the fuse 18 trick, no joy.
Accessed the lock, removed the plate, wd40 and tap...
like the l322 😂
I know, was just saying lecky fans usually don't kick in til over 100° easy, one of my cars does lo at 105 and hi at 112. 95 isn't a problem.
This talk makes me wonder if the lecky fan connector on the l322 actually works now 🤔
Hi everyone
On a 2006 Vogue with the HK Logic7 amp, does anyone know the route the wiring takes to get from the amp to the front right speakers?
Got very high resistance in the circuit stopping the mid/tweeter working and need to figure out...
Well that's 6 shortish trips done today and every time it has started as expected and ran faultless by land rover standards so pretty safe to say it's an issue with the tank pump as it seems to be level related.
Will keep an eye on it but at...
I went out to it, started it up, praised the lord it worked, something else broke, swore a lot, locked it, swore some more, made a coffee and now pretending it doesn't exist.
Cheers
Cheers, starting to look like it may be the tank mounted pump assembly. Filled up yesterday, sat for 16 hours and no air in the line and fired up straight away. Will keep an eye on it for the next few days though.
Just need to see if...
Up to now, t
Up to now I've tried the following:
Icarsoft JLR version
Autocom/delphi
Topdon
Otofix
Various ELM327 based software
Britools (I keep spelling that wrong) version of the LR software/hardware
All give link errors or freeze up when I...
Filled up today. So bit early to see. If it behaves fine this week then at least It'll help narrow the problem down and I'll have to pretend I have a 50l fuel tank for a bit til I can get a new tank pump assy.
Thought it was an ejector pump where it uses a little fuel to drag the fuel from the non pumped side.
Will give that a try though as I guess the secondary pump would suck the fuel out through the tank pump and leave the other side full wouldn't...
I have a 2006 TD6 with starting issues as well.
No code reader can access the ecu to read data but a basic generic code reader will drag error codes off it.
All of them come up with link errors.
Maybe try the generic obd2 error code function of...
