In spite of my name and location, I am English.
I have lived in the Midi-Pyrénées region of SW France for 13 years (postcode: 46200) and along the A20 (the autoroute, not the road between London and the Tunnel.
I plan to offer, on the International Rescue section, an ad hoc rescue service to members passing through the area or planning to live here.
I now know a great deal more about the suspension of P38s than I did a month ago, all of it learnt from members who do know what they are talking about. I have put the facility of my EASUnlock software (& its operator) at the disposal of Monsieur Renault, at my village garage.
My P38 runs mostly on LPG (GPL in French) and I can advise on the pro's and cons of gas. Registration and C.T. (= MOT) are a lot more complicated and strict than petrol or diesel.
I will be pleased to advise members on the wider aspects of living in France.
If all this is too much or too little for a profile, no doubt I will quickly hear about it and (perhaps) adjust accordingly.
