I've seen the videos of Russians in Yakutsk, Siberia dealing with the cold with their vehicles and it's a hell of a faff. Some even leave the cars parked up and running 24/7.

Greetings. I thought I'd try and get a discussion going about problems - and the solutions to those problems - that your Landy might have in the cold. I have an '05 90 Td5 and I live in the Canadian arctic (but I'm a born and bred Brit so I feel...

Drill the pop rivets and it comes out no bother. Or it should as mine did. I have some old road signs lying about and as their aluminum I made the new part out of that.

It's 22L, not 021 or 02L. They never made an axle with those codes. Defender 90 front axle. https://www.lrworkshop.com/axles-differentials/axlecodes You old gits are your own worst enemies! Post big pictures, not postage stamps. Clean the mud...

You can get a second hand one from ebay for ~£300. A refurb model for ~£550. Or a new one for ~£1000 I had mine overhauled by Welham diesel for £430.

A lot of panels are made in the UK. Paintman make their own I believe. Try them. The problem with YRM, and probably many others, is that they make a lot of panels on a production line. So one guy has to go down there (or ask their supplier), and...
