  • hi scott the sport lights are better as its just one unit ,but you need to cut away more of the headlight housing,if you remove the headlight ,indicator and trim with wiper you will see how much you have to cut out to get the new light in .you need to remove the the bumper ,front grill ,and slam panel ,you will need to fit new brackets to hold the new lights in place ,you can buy the connector plugs with wiring instructions off ebay for £90 or if you just want them to look good and dont want to spend £90 on connectors you can split the headlight by removing the lens cover and use the wiring loom from the p38 head light.i would do one side at a time ,and dont cut to much at one time,im doing one next week will try and post some pics.
Hi mate I have been reading the thread on headlight conversions and you said you can give advice I have got a 2000 P38 and a while ago I bought some L322 lights (xenon) but have never got round to fitting. Now I have just purchased some sport lights (not xenon) and grill so I have 2 sets which are the easiest to fit and can you give me any advice thanks scott
