Stripped down the LT230, and everything other than the intermediate gear is in tip top shape, none of the gear fragments got into any of the bearings which is amazing tbh - good job this happened within a mile of home. Here are the fragments...

Oh oh, I decided to reseal the LT230, whipped off the sump to find this: I guess the bits I found in the R380 are just incidental... Will need to strip it down to see if any other bits in the box are nadgered...

Yeah it was hard work, I'm no spring chicken any more so was huffing and puffing a bit...

New gearbox time... Guessing pinion bearing.

What a lovely, neat job. Great pictures too. Will really help anyone considering doing a servo change.
