What did you do with your Range Rover today

my cranshaft damper sounded like the adjuster pulley bearing was let go and the reason i found it was the front pulley damper was that you could turn the fan and the front pulley would turn without the cranshaft turning until the dog clutch engagad you could also turn it back about 1/8 of a...

P38 Diesel Injector Pump & Cam Top Dead Centre?

The timing chains can be renewed in situ but you do need a good 22 mm socket and about a 2 meter bar to get the nut undone on the front pulley and i use a bar to hold the crank rather than just rel.y on the timing pin to hold it

    L322 Should I be worried?

the circlip that is in the wheel bearing hub is 100mm or 4 inches indiameter and is an internal one (that is the size that is on my discovery 3 I have just measured a new one that i will be fitting when i get back to Australia)

    L322 Should I be worried?

Did you check the wheel bearing play as that might have caused the clips to pull through the shoes

    L322 Should I be worried?

that looks like the circlip that holds the hub bearing in the front or rear hub housing are you sure the scaping noise is not a wheel bearing colasped and the brake disc rubbing on the caliper bolts
