Mooky replied to the thread Intermittent (horrible word) TD5 loss of power..Just remembered I do have a fuel leak on the far right pipe at the fuel pump - someones done a DIY on the pipe in the past and now it leaks - would this cause the loss of power?

Just when I decide to sell - someone up theirs having a laugh! Its like limp mode if I keep the hammer down it will eventually clear and accelerate like the turbo kicking in - if I change down gear it stays limp until revs pick up. If I pull over...

1999 TD5 110 Defender 10p 111,800miles Hardtop Workhorse not a show pony MOT due in Feb but I'm going to pre MOT next month to see what's what. I'm in Cornwall if anyone would like to take a look. Open to sensible offers from genuine LR folk.
